Psalm 29:11 Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
Do you feel beyond Hopeless?? Do you find yourself starring out the window searching for an ounce of hope? There are so many people that are losing hope, especially around this time of year. Whether it is in a relationship, family, career, or in life itself. People seem to deem their lives as unrecoverable.
Do you feel beyond hopeless...
Trust me! I have been their and can say that, I am currently there in some instances of my life. But we have to see ourselves as an Overcomer! Knowing that whatever God places in our path, He has given us the endurance and persistence to run this race- "Coming out Victorious"!! God's word says in Hebrews 12:1, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up, and let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us".
Easier said then done- RIGHT! I know that's what you are saying. I'm not saying the journey will be easy. God didn't promise us that. But He does promise us that, even during every situation that we see as a hopeless end in our lives. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
We have to be willing to seek Him for direction and guidance. God will not fail us- He cannot!! This goes against what His Word says. He's a God that can not lie. So I want to encourage you today. When you feel hopeless and that no one cares. Began to say this prayer.
Lord Father, I thank you for where you have me today. Lord I am eternally grateful. Though I can not see what you are doing behind the scenes. I will continue to have faith and trust you in my current circumstances. I place my hope in you. Father, your word says in Psalm 29:11, Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. I cast all my cares on You, for You certainly care for me. I repent for not trusting you enough to give everything over to you. I place my life in Your hands, in Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
